This is a plain-English notice. Any County News / Inside the Jail is a trade name of Eamus Agite LLC. Inside the Jail ("we," "us") operates insidethejail.com.

What we collect

• Booking photo removal requests: the details you give us (see below).
• Tips or messages you send us by email, call or text.
• Basic website technical data (standard server/CDN logs).

This website has no accounts, no ads, no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts of our own, and it doesn't set cookies.

Booking photo removal requests

Removing a booking photo from Inside the Jail is always free. When you ask us to remove one, we collect:

• Your full name, date of birth, arrest date, county and the arresting agency (if you know it).
• Your email address, so we can reply.
• Who is asking (you, a parent or guardian, or an attorney with a bar number) and the reason.
• A case number or court paper, if you choose to give one.
• A photo of you holding your driver's license, with the license number covered. We ask for this by email after you send your request.

Why: only to confirm it's really you and to remove the photo. We match your details to the booking record. We never use this information for stories, marketing or anything else.

No selling or sharing: we never sell your information, and we never share it, except as required by law.

ID photo deleted: we delete your ID photo within 7 days after we make a decision on your request. We keep a short record (your name, county, the date we got your request and its request ID) to show that we handled it.

Don't send: your Social Security number, the back of your license or your home address. We don't need them.

The removal form doesn't save anything on this website. It fills in an email that you send from your own email app.

Text and call line

If you text or call 1-888-460-8444, we use your number only to reply to you about your message. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.

Adults only

This site is meant for adults. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to send a removal request for you.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
